Dear friends and colleagues, The Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops is proud to promote the annual Texas Catholic Pro-Life Day. Taking place during the same weekend as the Texas Rally for Life, there will be multiple events throughout the day that you, your family, and your church can participate in. The upcoming statewide Pro-Life March and Rally will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Austin. We invite you to attend Mass and prayer vigils before the March: 7 a.m. Prayer Vigil 10:00 am – Bishop Joe Vásquez, Celebrant 10:30 am – Bishop Daniel Garcia, Celebrant Over the past several years we have seen an increasing number of Catholic faithful participating in Mass; therefore, to accommodate the increased presence, the Diocese will offer two locations for the celebration of the Eucharist. Please come to join these events as you show your love and respect for the sacredness of life and the dignity of the human person - from conception to natural death. Please visit the Austin Diocese or Texas Rally for Life websites for more information. Of course, we also hope you are able to participate in any local events this month which honor our Church's profound respect for human life. Thank you and God bless, Rachana Chhin Public Policy Outreach Coordinator |
