If no payment is received the purchaser(s) shall forfeit all rights hereunder including rights to payment made prior to forfeiture; funds forfeited shall be treated as assets of liquidation and retained as damages. Cemetery reserves the right to sell such spaces without prior notification. If purchaser wishes to retain spaces, purchase will include all price increases in place since time of original purchase. A minimum payment of 25% will be required on all repurchases. The balance of the account must be paid within 24 months.
This cemetery is operated as a private perpetual care cemetery. Perpetual care for its maintenance is provided by the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Angelo, separate and apart from the laws of the State of Texas. Perpetual care means to maintain grass and all trees and planting provided by Calvary Cemetery. This care is ONLY intended for those plants placed BY AND FOR CALVARY CEMETERY, perpetual markers, monuments, or other decorations.
Owners of plots or spaces may, at any time (provided a state of default does not exist) sell
or transfer ownership, provided that such sale or transfer not be effective until recorded in the records of Calvary Cemetery. Resale or transfer of plots or mausoleum crypts shall be through the offices of Calvary Cemetery. All money and/or fees for burial or sepulture space, products, and/or services are to be paid to Calvary Cemetery, or guaranteed by approved funeral home prior to interment.

Any outside container used to line a grave must be of metal, reinforced concrete, or fiber
glass. Caskets may be interred with or without an outside container, but it is expressly
understood that the Cemetery shall not be responsible for failure of the integrity of any casket for any reason. Such responsibility shall be a matter for resolution between purchaser of casket and seller of same. In case of double depth burials an outside container must be used! Mausoleum burials require a sealed metal/steel casket.
Reversion: The ownership or right in/to any unoccupied cemetery lot or space shall, upon ABANDONMENT; revert to the person, firm, or corporation holding ownership of Calvary Cemetery. Such rights include but are not limited to perpetual care and maintenance thereof.
Calvary Cemetery conducts a bi-annual cleaning of the cemetery; this includes removal of
ALL flowers, decorations, and ground coverings. Notice will be posted when clean-up dates are scheduled. We ask that any flower arrangements wished to be retained, be removed from cemetery grounds prior to these dates. Flowers may be replaced once the clean-up has been completed. Seasonal flowers are removed six weeks after the holiday (poinsettias after Christmas, lilies after Easter, etc.).
These procedures are provided in order to reduce the overabundance of unsightly, timeworn decorations which contribute to the unkempt state of Calvary Cemetery. Accordingly, older unsightly flowers will be removed at the cemeteries’ discretion.
Flowers should be placed in vases mounted on monuments. Monument companies should note: vases should be permanently mounted on the monument. Flower arrangements are limited to one arrangement per grave. There may be two arrangements only if there are two permanent vases attached to the monument. Decorations are not allowed to be displayed on easels, except at the time of burial. Temporary vases may be used, but no glass or ceramic vases are permitted. Temporary vases must be secured to the ground to prevent the wind tipping them over. The cemetery is not responsible for vases. Live flowers will be removed when wilted.
Calvary Cemetery may, at its sole discretion, remove flowers (either natural or artificial) when deemed unsightly. Calvary Cemetery reserves the right to define "unsightly" at any time and in any manner. Artificial flowers will be removed when faded and/or scattered. Due to limited space, no more than one flower arrangement will be permitted for each space where a burial has taken place. The only allowable exception to this rule is at the time of internment. Fencing, curbing, and ground covering is not permitted. All fencing, curbing and ground covering will be removed. Candles, glassware, and ceramic vases are not allowed and will be removed. Unauthorized statuary, including figurines, and wooden or metal crosses shall be removed. No free standing statuary or benches are permitted.
No decorations are permitted to be attached to the front of the mausoleums. If you wish to have a flower arrangement on a mausoleum, please contact the cemetery management for purchase and installation of a permanent mausoleum vase.
