With the news of the devastating fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris yesterday, people have begun asking how they can help. 

Unfortunately, people with generous hearts are also easy targets for the bad guys. There are also already reports of scams making their way around the internet as people try to take advantage of this surge of generosity.

There's two bits of good news in all this. First, several wealthy French families and corporations have already pledged several hundred million dollars to rebuilding efforts. Secondly, for those who wish to donate to the renovation of Notre-Dame de Paris, the Archdiocese of Paris has provided the following instructions: 

It is possible to make a donation for the renovation of Notre-Dame de Paris:
