Lord, I thank you for the gift of life and for your love.

Help me to know myself better and to know my talents,
as I try to choose my life's work.

Help me to see and to understand all the paths open to me.

Help me to choose a life work which will be in response to your love for me.

Give me the grace to be receptive to your will,
the strength to respond to it generously,
and the perseverance to carry it out.
